Privacy policy
This site is a small independent publication. It collects as little as it can get away with, and this policy describes what that means in practice.
What this site does not do
- There are no accounts, no logins and no newsletter, so there is nothing to sign up for and no email list.
- No comment system, so no comment data.
- No selling of personal information to anyone, under any circumstances.
- No advertising network is embedded in these pages.
Server logs
The site is hosted by Vercel, which keeps standard server logs when a page is requested. These typically include the IP address, the browser and operating system, the page requested, the referring page, and the time of the request. This is ordinary web hosting infrastructure and applies to essentially every site on the internet. Vercel processes this data as a service provider, under its own privacy terms.
Cookies
This site does not set its own tracking cookies.
If you click an affiliate link, the destination site, and the affiliate platform
it uses, will normally set a cookie to record that the visit came from here. That
cookie is set by them, on their domain, under their privacy policy, not this one.
We attach a short tracking code to affiliate links (visible in the address as a
subid parameter) that tells us which article a click came from. It
identifies the page, not the person.
External sites
Guides link to journals, medical institutions, reference sites and product pages. Once you follow any of those links you are on someone else's site, subject to their data practices, which we do not control and are not responsible for.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data held about you, and to object to its processing. Residents of California, the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area have these rights under the CCPA and the UK and EU GDPR respectively.
Since this site holds no user accounts and no mailing list, in practice there is rarely anything held to disclose or delete beyond the host's server logs. To make a request, write to Galaxy-trade2000@gmail.com.
Children
This site is written for adults and is not directed at children under 13. No information is knowingly collected from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
